Jonathon Preston is Vice President, Federal Government Services, Canada at AECOM, the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle — from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
In this role, Mr. Preston has executive responsibility over AECOM’s Canadian Federal accounts, programs and projects. He will coordinate AECOM’s Global Services Offerings to Canadian industrial, Federal and other government markets.
Mr. Preston joined AECOM in 2024 when he took on the role of Defence Client Account Manager. Mr. Preston has extensive experience with defence agencies in Canada, as he previously worked at Defence Construction Canada, and later at the Department of National Defence. He also has exposure to other departments through a role at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. He is an infrastructure and environment specialist with 27 years of leadership experience in both the private and public sectors and is a retired military officer.
