The Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore has awarded two AECOM engineers for exemplifying excellence in two separate categories.
Lim Soon Hui, Executive Director, won ACES Design Excellence Awards 2024 as the C&S Engineering Consultant for the New Orchard TEL MRT Station and A&A to Existing ION Orchard and Existing NSL Orchard Station. This award honors engineering projects in Singapore that exemplify outstanding design and quality. It aims to encourage engineers to uphold high standards in their work, foster competition for excellence, and highlight the diverse technical expertise of consulting engineers. It also serves to demonstrate the value of engineering services to clients and the public.
Febrina Aryani, Associate Director, won ACES Young Consulting Engineers of the Year 2024 under the Civil & Structural category. Febrina’s selection comes after a thorough screening of her submission, which included an overview of the challenges her team faced while managing projects, followed by a 10-minute presentation and an interview with the ACES Council members.
The ACES Young Consulting Engineer of the Year award recognizes and encourages young engineers in Singapore who have made significant, sustained contributions to their profession. The award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exceptional design and engineering skills, particularly through their leadership and involvement in challenging or innovative projects.
