Matthew Walicki

Matthew Walicki, PE, is the national practice manager for AECOM’s freight rail facilities team. He was recently named a 2017 Rising Star by Progress Railroading Magazine. As design manager, he has overseen the design of multiple facility types, including car repair shops, locomotive fueling and servicing shops, fuel storage, car wash facilities, and administration offices. He also serves as AECOM’s transportation client account manager for Norfolk Southern Railway. As part of this role, he has co-authored Norfolk Southern’s Public Improvements Manual and currently serves as the program manager for Norfolk Southern’s Private Crossing Program.
