Samara Barend

Samara “Sam” Barend serves as senior vice president and P3 director for North America. She’s been with AECOM since 2010 and currently leads and founded the Performance Based Building Coalition (www.p3buildings.org), a nonprofit organization with over 80 firms in the infrastructure industry, whose mission is to advance the use of P3s for public buildings. Sam also formerly served as executive director of the New York State Asset Maximization Commission. Sam is also a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan who continues to suffer many highs and lows yet still keeps the hope!
