We assisted in the cost management of the Atrio Towers, an emblematic project that will redefine the panoramic view of the city of Bogota.
Located in the heart of the city of Bogotá, the Atrio Towers Phase I represent a milestone in architectural design and real estate innovation. This office and residential complex stands as a symbol of sophistication and functionality, offering an unparalleled work and living space. It stands out for its contemporary design and imposing structure. With a glass façade that reflects natural light and an interior that combines elegance with state-of-the-art technology, the complex redefines the standard of quality in the real estate market. Each tower has been carefully designed to maximize energy efficiency and comfort, using high quality materials and advanced construction techniques.
What was AECOM’s role?
AECOM Colombia made the construction cost estimate for Phase I of the project, which includes 5 basements (39,000 m²), 43 floors of the North Tower (75,000 m²), canopies, commercial pavilions (3,570 m²) and a public area of 10,500 m². As part of the contractual commitments, the strategy and work team were defined, the format of the deliverables (quantity measurements, quotations, unit price analysis, list of materials) was agreed with the client, and periodic follow-up meetings were held. Led the definition of the cost breakdown structure, consolidated and reviewed the cost team’s deliverables, mainly the detailed construction cost. Also managed and controlled changes with the design teams and presented the results to the client. Finally, led meetings to reconcile the budget with the builder and establish the cost control baseline.
