A new 688,861 SF, ten-level tower expansion in addition to a 557,762 SF, seven-level precast concrete parking structure with 1,401 stalls.
The new level 1 trauma hospital tower is anticipated to consist of 96 ICU beds, emergency department, 16 operating rooms, two hybrid operating rooms, four cath labs, six interventional radiology suites, central sterile, pre/post op, pharmacy, lab, imaging, food service, education, rooftop helipad and mechanical spaces.
The new parking structure also includes a Central Utility Plant (CUP) and logistics center to support operations of the new hospital tower. The project includes an overhead connector to the existing BBRP as well as an overhead connector between the new tower and new parking structure. The exterior envelope consists of multiple finish systems that include curtain wall and ribbon window systems, cast stone, metal panel and louver systems, and sunshades.
