The comprehensive, phased project comprises a number of facilities that support the overall operation of an aviation passenger terminal, such as:
Terminal Processor: This 340,864 SF complete remodel and expansion of Terminal 3 encompasses four levels – mezzanine, passenger, service and street.
South Concourse: This new 284,995 SF, 15-gate concourse consists of both a passenger level and an apron level for service and support functions. The South Concourse was designed as a linear facility attaching to the Terminal Processor on the south end of the existing bridge.
North Concourse: The existing 153,002 SF concourse underwent a comprehensive renovation of the passenger and apron levels, including 10 gates, with an expansion at its mid-point to create a concessions node.
Consolidated Campus Building 1: A new 1,275,000 SF midfield terminal and airside development including terminal building, two concourses housing 40 gates, airside apron, roadways, utilities, baggage handling system, security screening, restaurants and retail space. In addition, a 22′ thick apron of 518,000 square yards and under pavement hydrant fueling system Remote Makeup Facility: This 22,000 SF facility is a pre-engineered metal building with insulated metal panels and metal roof, housing three baggage claim devices and associated conveyors.
