Construction was recently completed on the Bristol Road bridge replacement over Tenmile Creek for the Clermont County Transportation Improvement District.
AECOM completed the roadway, structural, and hydraulic design for the bridge on a new alignment to replace the rapidly deteriorating existing non-composite box beam structure. The new alignment was chosen to improve sight distance and the vertical profile from the existing bridge. The bridge provides the only access for the residents of Bristol Road and is located over a tributary of the Ohio River that has seen significant flooding in recent years. The new 80 foot single-span composite box beam structure has already seen significant rain events and is outperforming the hydraulic analysis. AECOM is proud of the service it provides to counties throughout Ohio in helping them solve local issues.
