For more than 40 years, AECOM Tishman has been the trusted builder for Carnegie Hall’s construction projects, large and small.
We served as CM for the multi-phased restoration and renovation of the historic complex, built in 1891 and registered as a National Historic Landmark. AECOM Tishman helped restore the main concert hall – the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage – renovate Carnegie Hall’s Studio Towers and build the Judy and Arthur Zankel Hall, as well as modernize Carnegie Hall’s infrastructure. Most recently we completed the restoration of Carnegie Hall’s historic façade and the Weill Café, as well as providing elevator modernization, security bollards and sidewalk replacement. Throughout, Carnegie Hall has been fully operational, with regular performances.
