Dallas (February 22, 2023) — AECOM, the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, announced today it has been awarded a five-year blanket purchase agreement to support the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in its mission to protect human health and the environment nationwide. Through an Environmental, Analytical, Research, Technical & Hybrid (EARTH) contract, AECOM will work with the EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) to develop and execute national programs focused on pollution prevention and energy efficiency, indoor and outdoor air quality, vehicle and engine pollution, radon, acid rain, stratospheric ozone depletion, climate change, and radiation protection.

“Reflecting our commitment to delivering Sustainable Legacies through our work, we’re honored to partner with the EPA’s OAR to develop and implement strategies that further the objectives of the EARTH program,” said Frank Sweet, chief executive of AECOM’s global Environment business. “We support clients by embedding sustainable development and resilience across our projects to address vulnerabilities and improve outcomes relative to health, quality and inclusion, and our technical experts look forward to delivering comprehensive services that help the EPA address its pressing environmental and social justice priorities.”

As the prime on this contract award, AECOM will maintain a continued focus on the federal government’s priorities and the EPA’s core mission by providing comprehensive environmental services in support of all seven OAR offices spanning the United States.
