NEW YORK (November 2, 2023) — AECOM, the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, today announced it has appointed Kristopher Takácsas its global head of stations and transit-oriented development for its Building + Places business line. In this role, Mr. Takacswill be responsible for spearheading the growth of AECOM Buildings + Places’ design practice in the rail and transit sectors.

Mr. Takács is a highly experienced industry veteran with nearly 30 years of domestic and international experience. He has a proven track record of successfully delivering multi-million-dollar transportation developments both in the United States and around the world. A respected architect and urbanist, Mr. Takács has held leadership positions in prominent architecture and engineering firms, specializing in planning and designing industry-leading ground transportation passenger facilities and innovative transit-oriented developments.
