DALLAS (June 24, 2025) — AECOM, the trusted global infrastructure leader, is strengthening its leadership team across the U.S. East and Latin America region with the appointments of Mark Blanchard as Vice President, Miami Metro+ Executive, and Jaidev Sankar as Transit Strategy & Growth Lead.

With more than 35 years of industry experience, Mr. Blanchard will lead a team to deliver cutting-edge solutions on projects, foster strategic partnerships, and develop market expansion and growth strategies to strengthen the Company’s regional presence across the Florida area. His expertise in transportation, housing, aviation and water utilities, and extensive list of successful projects enable him to accurately comprehend and anticipate the needs of our clients.

Mr. Sankar rejoins AECOM with over 30 years of experience, including 13 years at the company, where he played a key role in the Second Avenue Subway and Westport Railroad Station. Most recently he led a capital delivery program at Amtrak, overseeing a team of over 200 professionals responsible for the delivery of an over $30 billion infrastructure capital program. In his new role, Mr. Sankar will lead the Company’s strategic positioning with key clients, build its project pipeline, and support major pursuits across the region. His knowledge of and experience in transit and passenger rail systems will play a vital role in bolstering the Company’s infrastructure portfolio and strengthening its partnerships with agencies and stakeholders.
