AECOM, as part of the Unite32 Joint Venture with Laing O’Rourke, is the official Delivery Partner for the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA). Unite32, in partnership with GIICA, will deliver the Authority Venues Program for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Unite32 will be responsible for delivering US$5 billion (AU$7.1 billion) in critical infrastructure, providing new and upgraded venues that will define the Games and create lasting benefits for Queensland communities.
Our role:
- Lead and integrate the delivery of all Authority Venues for GIICA
- Provide program controls: cost, schedule, risk and assurance
- Support procurement and market engagement across the venue portfolio
- Coordinate design and technical inputs for compliant, buildable outcomes
- Oversee delivery interfaces through to readiness and handover
- Provide construction oversight
