AECOM is honored to receive the Singapore Green Building Services (SGBS) Level 1 rating certification for Environmental Sustainability from the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC).
Presented on June 6, 2024, this certification recognizes AECOM’s commitment to delivering best-in-class green buildings that are aligned with the latest industry benchmarks and best practices. The certificate is given to market leaders with a strong track record in Green Mark projects, qualified under the Green Mark certification scheme, and capabilities in various environmental sustainability fields.
Karan Sinsinwar, Associate Director, Sustainability, received this recognition on behalf of AECOM at the SGBC Gala Dinner 2024, held at Orchard Hotel Singapore. Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for National Development and Second Minister for Finance, was the guest of honor at the gala dinner, which was attended by more than 600 representatives from Singapore’s built environment sector.
“We are honored to have been recognized by SGBC as one of the leading companies offering professional services for the advancement of Singapore’s sustainability goals,” Karan said. “This is also a testament to AECOM’s continued commitment to our Sustainable Legacies strategy, which aims to embed ESG in all that we do and leave a long-lasting and positive impact to our people and planet.”
The SGBS certification scheme was launched in October 2012 and aims to advance the frontiers of green building performance through the industry’s delivery of professional services.
