Yeap Beow Heng, Technical Director, Civil, participated in HSR Asia 2024, held on September 3-4 at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur. During the event, he presented on the expansion of metro and high-speed rail infrastructure across Asia, emphasizing how local, regional and global collaboration can address challenges in the industry.
In his presentation, “Digital Adoption in the Design of Rail Projects through Regional Collaborations,” Yeap explored the use of digital solutions, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), BIM content management, and interface management, to drive the successful construction of complex rail projects. He highlighted the importance of international partnerships in leveraging regional expertise, talent and advanced digital tools to deliver more efficient and sustainable rail solutions.
