AECOM appoints Anil Parikh as Transportation Regional Business Line Leader for the New York Metro area

NEW YORK, NY (March 7, 2025) — AECOM, the trusted global infrastructure leader, today announced the appointment of Anil Parikh as the Transportation Regional Business Line Leader (RBLL) for the New York Metro area. In this role, Mr. Parikh will lead strategic growth initiatives, oversee key transportation projects and further strengthen AECOM’s partnerships across the region. 

With more than 40 years of experience in the transit and transportation sector, Mr. Parikh brings unparalleled expertise in leadership, strategic guidance and project management. Over the past eight years at AECOM, he has successfully led the firm’s Transit/Rail business and served as the Platinum Client Account Manager for the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).

Prior to joining AECOM, Mr. Parikh dedicated 32 years to the New York MTA, where he played a pivotal role in delivering transformative transit projects, including leading megaprojects such as Phase 1 of the Second Avenue Subway and the 63rd Street Connection. As the form Program Executive of the Second Avenue Subway, he oversaw one of the most complex and significant infrastructure undertakings in the region’s history.
