Singapore (October 26, 2022) — AECOM, the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, today announced that applications have opened for FastTrack CityHack Singapore 2022, a weekend-long, in-person hackathon competition which will take place from November 25-27, 2022, at AECOM Singapore’s office.
The event presents a unique opportunity for an anticipated 80 participants with a passionate interest in advancing Singapore’s future resiliency, livability and sustainability to accelerate solutions to the city’s greatest challenges. Central to the competition will be the leveraging of technology and digital assets to drive innovation. FastTrack CityHack is specially designed to enable diverse talents to pool their expertise, experience and aspirations to co-create ideas that build better cities. The winning teams will receive cash prizes, and access to AECOM and leading expert advisors who will provide them with the professional support and guidance to help fast track their solutions to market.

FastTrack CityHack Singapore 2022 is supported by several partners, including Design Singapore Council, Institution of Civil Engineers, Urban Land Institute Singapore, as well as leading IT corporations, industry and business associations, universities, and learned societies. Supporting the diversity and inclusion agenda, the competition will see over 40 experts and top voices from a spectrum of disciplines take on roles as judges, facilitators, speakers as well as mentors to the teams.

In line with AECOM’s commitment to ESG, the event will promote equity, diversity and inclusion through gender balance in participation as well as environmental responsibility by avoiding single-use plastics and donating registration fees to Garden City Fund’s Plant-A-Tree programme in Singapore.
