The Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC) recently held their 19th Annual Economic Awards Dinner where AECOM was selected as the Engineering Company of the Year. The event acknowledges those who work toward the advancement of African American business enterprises in the greater Los Angeles area. Each year, individuals and companies are acknowledged for their commitment and advocacy efforts. AECOM was selected for its outstanding leadership in the area of engineering, as well as for its generous contributions to minority organizations in the greater Los Angeles area.

“It’s always an honor to be recognized for your efforts,” says Gwendolyn Williams, project manager. “The GLAAACC organization has been tirelessly working to promote minority business for the past 19 years. Receiving recognition from them is a terrific achievement.”
