AECOM Tishman served as CM for this 2.6 million SF LEED Platinum transformation of Citi’s New York headquarters.
Work included overcladding a portion of the façade of the main tower, a total overclad of the adjacent mid-rise building, adding additional floors, lobby renovations and a “town square,” a multistory atrium and amenity space that unites the two buildings. The transformation, which included cutting-edge upgrades to IT/AV equipment and infrastructure in order to meet evolving business needs, took place while the buildings remained open and occupied by more than 9,000 employees.
