We’ve delivered a range of projects to pave the way for Dublin Airport to develop in a sustainable way and accommodate 40 million passengers per annum (mppa) in what represents the next step of a bigger plan in which the airport will accommodate 55 mppa.
As lead consultant and technical advisor to Dublin Airport, we helped outline the Capital Investment Program 2020+ for submission to Ireland’s aviation regulator – outlining detailed plans for infrastructure development as part of a technically and commercially sound proposal.
The program includes significant upgrades to airfield infrastructure to boost the airport’s capacity to support 40 million passengers per year, while improved terminal design, greater transport links, and new services will transform the passenger experience.
The Capital Investment Plan 2020+ provides high level design, construction sequencing and cost planning for key elements including terminals, piers, airfield, surface access, drainage and utilities. We helped coordinate all feasibility studies, supervising several multi-disciplinary design and cost consulting teams. Our wide-ranging role meant working across multiple projects as technical coordinator, program manager, project supervisor, program scheduler and risk manager.
We previously supported Dublin Airport on various projects leading up to the Capital Investment Program 2020+. This includes delivering a new masterplan for the airport, comprising surface access, baggage handling, environmental inputs and more, and delivering multidisciplinary design services for a Capacity Development Plan.
