The Singapore Sustainability Academy (SSA) Annex project has attained the Green Mark Retail Platinum Award under the User Centric Scheme. AECOM was the sustainability consultant for the project, as appointed by our client, City Development Ltd.
We worked closely with the client to help the project meet Green Mark requirements, preparing the submission to Building and Construction Authority and conducting the relevant assessments.
The SSA Annex is an extension of the existing 4,300-square-foot SSA that was opened in 2017. It showcases a variety of sustainable features such as an energy-efficient AC system with hybrid cooling, PV panels to offset energy consumption, effective external thermal insulation and use of low carbon materials and environmental products.
