Chief Legal Officer

Manav Kumar is Chief Legal Officer at AECOM (NYSE:ACM), the trusted global infrastructure leader committed to delivering a better world.

In this role, Mr. Kumar leads all legal and public affairs functions globally and serves as Corporate Secretary, with additional executive oversight of risk management, government relations, communications, safety, security and resilience across the company. He also advises the company and its Board on significant transactions, strategic initiatives and other complex business and reputational matters. As a member of AECOM’s Executive Leadership Team, he helps advance the company’s strategy and long-term priorities.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Kumar held several leadership roles at AECOM, including Corporate General Counsel, and Global Head of Public Affairs, as well as Vice President and Chief of Staff to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Before joining AECOM, he served as Deputy Counsel to the Mayor of Los Angeles and Chief Olympics Officer for the City of Los Angeles, where he played a key role in the city’s successful pursuit of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kumar held foreign policy roles in the U.S. Senate, clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and practiced law at Arnold & Porter and Caldwell Leslie & Proctor. He earned his J.D. from Yale Law School and his A.B. from Harvard College.
