David Gan

Chief Legal Officer

David Gan is Chief Legal Officer at AECOM (NYSE:ACM), the global infrastructure leader committed to delivering a better world.

In this role, Mr. Gan is responsible for AECOM’s global legal function, leading a team of lawyers, legal and compliance professionals, and support staff across the enterprise. His areas of focus include corporate governance, M&A and transactional legal matters, litigation, ethics and compliance, enterprise risk management, SEC reporting, and providing comprehensive legal support for global operations. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he plays a key role in furthering the company’s strategy. 

Over nearly 20 years at AECOM, Mr. Gan has held senior legal roles as General Counsel. Before joining AECOM in 2006, he practiced at Mayer Brown LLP in Los Angeles and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. in Palo Alto. 

Mr. Gan has been named as one of Southern California’s Top 50 Diverse Leaders by the California Diversity Council. He graduated with his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of California, Hastings, his Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, The Anderson School of Management, and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.
