Are you a service leaver looking for a career in consultancy? What about a Level 6 qualification in Lean consultancy? AECOM is more than a training organisation, we are a professionally managed service organisation.
We recognise that you’ve had some of the best training in the world as a member of our Armed Forces. Now, as you embark on your resettlement, choose AECOM as your trusted partner – not just a trainer – to guide and give you the focus to kick start your new career choice.
About the course
To provide service leavers with the enhanced capability to secure professional employment within the consultancy sector, AECOM has designed a ‘Lean Consultancy’ training course. The course focuses on deploying Lean Six Sigma improvement strategies to both industrial and commercial clients. These skills are highly sought after within the consultancy sector..
Allied to our training programme, we can prepare and position service leavers to access the industrial consultancy market. We will continue to provide on-going support through our alumni programme. Once a service leaver has qualified through our course, they will be invited to join our alumni community. Upon joining, they’ll be able to access our closed LinkedIn group. Through the group, the service leavers will be informed of career opportunities within AECOM that will benefit from their unique skills.
AECOM’s Level 6 Lean Consultancy Programme provides the following:
- Classroom training
- Online support through WebEx
- Virtual learning environment
- Exams can be taken when ready
- Courses are located throughout UK (AECOM has 30 offices across UK&I)
- Our trainers are Industrial consultants delivering improvement programmes across industries
AECOM is a global consultancy business that employs circa 9,500 service leavers globally. We’re also a Gold recipient of the MoD Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) and a business that already has a number of diverse military contracts. However, we want to do more. We recognise that any service leaver’s ultimate goal is to find meaningful employment and the courses that they can attend will help them in this goal.
AECOM has a vast portfolio of business activity that includes construction, nuclear engineering, general manufacturing, aerospace, automotive manufacturing and defence (and this is not an exhaustive list). We are distinctively placed to absorb the diversity of the unique skills and experience that service leavers are able to offer the wider industrial, commercial and business communities.
