AECOM’s multidisciplinary team was commissioned to deliver holistic design and engineering consulting services for Singapore’s first integrated resort.
Located at the north-east of Sentosa Island, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Southeast Asia, with 2,132 feet (650 meters) of waterfront in Cruise bay.
Spanning the site area of 99 acres (49 hectares), this integrated resort development comprises six hotels with a total of 1,800 rooms, Southeast Asia’s first and only Universal Studios theme park, the world’s largest oceanarium — Marine Life Park, the Maritime Experiential Museum, the Adventure Cove Water Park, a casino, retails festive plaza, a waterfront amphitheater and conference facilities.
RWS has become an iconic symbol for Singapore in the realms of culture, entertainment and leisure in Southeast Asia.
