AECOM’s approach in planning Kaohsiung City’s new zoo goes beyond concept design.

Our integrated planning method makes use of our expertise in environmental remediation and compliance to ensure that the project outcome is positive and benefits both the environment and the community.

Due to space constraints at the existing zoo, Kaohsiung City’s Tourism Bureau decided to build a larger facility in Neimen District, which includes a 200-hectare wildlife park and a 12-hectare ecological and environmental tourism area for educational purposes.

For this project, we provided a full spectrum of services including planning, environmental impact assessment, development permit application, land alteration, and soil and water conservation.
